Carnival masks are a creative and fun choice for a team building activity. Here is an idea for organising a carnival mask making and mask decoration workshop in Venice for your event:

The course will be introduced by an assistant who will explain the activity with historical notes on typical Venetian masks such as: the Bauta or Bautta used by the Doge of Venice, or the Moretta used as a tool of seduction, among many others, in addition to the ancient techniques used in the past, referring to traditional Venetian masks. Different styles of masks are also presented as inspiration for mask decoration.

Carnival mask courses are structured as follows: you have the option of choosing from over fifty models, depending on whether it will be used for theater or for other purposes, observing photos of every stage and getting relative explanations throughout the course, and choosing among eight different mask decoration techniques.

With acrylic tempera paints or metallic paints such as gold, silver and copper, students will be able to decorate the handmade papier-mâché mask as they please, with different types of wax for the final touch and choosing the appropriate colored ribbon for the mask, which will be kept by the student.
